Help dating a John McCormack record

I have a 10" Victor Talking Machine Company Red Label (one side) 78 rpm record of John McCormack version of When Irish Eyes Are Smiling. The number on the label and pressed into the record is 64631. Unlike other McCormack recordings inherited from my father, this one has no date on either the label or the record. I did find an online guide to dating Victor black label 78 rpm records, but the only information there about the red label series is that Victor continued to issue one sided red label 78 records into the 1920s.

If anyone would know the date of the record or could direct me to a reference source, I would appreciate it.

Thank you,
Rob

Thank you for the link. I saw where the Society gives the date of the recording as September 20, 1916.

While looking at that site, I checked the dates given there for other McCormack recordings with the dates on the record labels I have. The Society shows the date for "Angel's Serenade" and Ave Maria", both with Fritz Kreisler, as March 25, 1914, which is the date on 12" 78 rpm record I have. However, for "All Alone" and "Rose Marie" the Society shows a date of December 17, 1924. The date on the 10" 78 rpm record I have gives a recording date of August 11, 1908.

In the absence of other information, I will use the September 20, 1916 date for my record of McCormack's When Irish Eyes Are Smiling. But, given some of the different dates I found at the Society's page, I just wonder if my record was made at an earlier date.

Thanks again.
Rob
