The Ark newsletter says they haven't made an album since 1965. (I also appended this to the Little Knowon 1960s Folksingers thread.) |

26 Sep 15 - 08:22 PM (#3740012) Subject: RE: Kathy and Carol, together again From: GUEST,Lin To Guest Thomas: Thanks so much for the information about their CD. I have their very first album "Kathy & Carol" from 1965 both on LP & CD and have a few of Carol McComb's solo albums. I look forward to get this other album of the one you mentioned from CD Baby. For those not familiar with Kathy & Carol they were a folk duo from the San Diego area (at that time) when they had their first LP released in 1965. They were both very young, maybe 18 or 20 years old (or at least appeared to be about that age from cover of LP) Wonderful album with some traditional ballads on it. Lovely, lovely harmonies from these two singers. I even remember where I bought that first album on LP - a record shop on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood in about 1969 or 1970 as a very young teenager, maybe 14 or 15 at the most. |
