Interesting, Terry, thanks.

We're guesting at the Sunray, Osmington, Dorset on Thursday 28 (my birthday), but hadn't made plans for the weekend yet. Have been so near yet so far for Crediton and Pennymoor weekends, so it would be nice to make it to Bishops Nympton! Rather short notice to get a session going for non-locals?

Have been watching Johnny Kingdom's Exmoor wildlife series on TV - the Snare & Gin Trap is his local!

Wish I could, Terry, but I'm helping host sessions at the Aylesford Folk Festival, in Kent that weekend, and also going to Essex Girl's BBQ.

Yes Dave, that's right, if you remember, they filmed the pub renaming ceremony by which the original name the 'Snare and Gin Trap' was restored by the Landlady (Glen) at the request of the locals. We'll be there Tell, on Friday night, if we can get the afternoon off!

Might this be a thread where nationwide Folk Friendly Pubs preferably with campsite may be displayed?

We'll be there on the Friday night, but Doc Tom's calling in London on the Saturday and won't be back in time for Sunday lunchtime. Ah well, can't win 'em all. See those of you who make it for Friday night.

I'm sure no one will mind you posting Nationwide Folk Friendly Pubs Mr Happy. However Glen is hoping to have as many Folkies as possible for the weekend. She may not be a landlady for much longer.
Looking forward to see you all
