It's the Irish for "Meath" - the county from which they come.

Incidentally, the awkward look of that line is entirely my fault! I copied and pasted the original (from one of the festival organisers), did a minor edit and hoped for the best.....

Where do youse draw the distinction between young and old persons ?
Like the 'Senior' and 'Minor' in the Gaelic Athletic brawling ?
Or is there a test involving SMS message speed typing ??
Unfortunately, I'll miss the event - but hope it goes well...

I'd have thought the chief brawlers in GAA were the "Juniors" - who have no age limit!

Thanks for that Martin. I'm downunder at the moment,in Sydney at the moment. I visited Michael Dwyer's grave in Waverley Cemetery yesterday, it was a moving experience. I sang Dunlavin Green as I stood by the tomb, the crows went silent it was eerie. I'll talk to you soon,

Martin, as you know, we are not afraid to cross the Atlantic but this September poses some problems. Give us another year's grace. Hear Frank's CD was available at a large Irish festival in upper New York State last week. We look forward to getting a copy.

All the best,
Dan & Bonnie
