I hope, Jacqui, that Kendall proposed as romantically as I did. I said, "You'll have to let me know if you want to get married" and she did. So she called my mother and said, "Mike and I have decided to get married" and my mother shouted the news to my sister in the traditional way our family announces such things: "Hey! Pat's pregnant!" Some months later we hoisted anchor together. 'Tain't always been easy, but we've managed 'er as best we can. And you two will also. Just don't get either Seamus or Kendall wet. |

His cancer reappearance and subsequent operation brought forward plans we had to be together and, due to the green card situation, we had to become a sort of respectable married couple.
