Many happy returns to one of my favourite singer/songwriters.

Live long, die happy.

68? He looks 40.
Must be the Maine weather. Kendall doesn't look a day over 50.
Happy birthday, Gordon.
Enjoy!

Happy Birthday to a man who has given me much listening pleasure over many years.

Maybe I'll play all my old Gordon Bok and Tom Paxton albums tonight rather than watch old "Abbott & Costello Meet The....." movies or sitting around trying to remember "What WERE their names?". I didn't realize we had so much feel thankful about on Halloween!

Maybe the blessings have been in disguise all these years. Maybe I just have been extremely lax in reading my Mudcat Birthday Threads.....

Dear Gordon,

Happy B-Day to one of the best Singers of the Sea around, next to Kendall, of course...;>) I'll listen to anything you sing, anytime. Thanks for adding to the joys of life.

Hi Gordon,

Do you remember when the Welsh duo Calennig did a concert for Ramblin' Conrads in Norfolk, VA, and you came down specially to see us? Happy Birthday to one of the finest guys around.

Very Happy Birthday to the man with the Golden Voice. He could melt butter with it! :-)

What is this? Tom Paxton, Gordon Bok....

Well, if you're birthday isn't happy go see Kendall. Ask him for some of that stuff he keeps hidden away so Jacqui won't find it.

Actually, Jacqui bought the last jug of single malt. Gordon and I really bruised it the other night.

A MOST happy birthday to Gordon Bok, from whose records I have been stealing songs for many years.

Thank you, Gordon, for all the songs, and for the pleasure of listening to you sing them!

Happy Birthday, Gordon - seems an age since we last met, so we must make sure it's not an age until we meet next!

But have a great day!

So how are the songbook sales going? Still having to give away a Gordon Bok Automatic Turn On Toward Morning model fan with them to boost sales?

Sorry you haven't received any royalties from the special Gordon Bok edition of the Amish-Australian Pitchfork Moustache Tuner but after Murray from Oz passed on the rights became tied up in litigation and we had to cease production.

Happy Birthday, and thank you for many great songs you've written, many happy hours of listening to your music on vinyl and later media, and many wonderful concerts you've given in the DC area.

Never met him, but he has been a hero since my earliest memories. Last month, I gave my oldest daughter (now 16) a tape from album no. 1, and after she listened to it, she said "Dad - these are all the songs you play!" Yup. Stole 'em all. I will get my first live listen at UUCV in March - and a handshake would make my daughter swoon. Happy Birthday Mr. Bok.

Happy Birthday Gordon. After 60 they all get better. I try to spread your music around here in Central Florida during the winter months.
Beware of Kendall's single malt, it can have nefarious effects on senior citizens.
