This year, however, that weekend is ambiguous. Is the festival May 31-June 1 or June 7-8? Incidentally, if you've never been, it's worth coming to - even worth traveling for. The festival is free, with 7 stages of music, storytelling and dance. There's jamming in the picnic area and very high caliber music from the Washington, DC area. Everything's sponsored and run by the Folklore Society of Greater Washington - better known as "The Good People Who Brought You the Getaway." Dan Schatz |
