Origins: The Pride of the Panmuir Yaird

We are trying to find out about a song, "The Pride of the Panmuir Yaird", which we believe was written to commemorate the return of the ship "Discovery" to Dundee. We believe it was performed, recorded and perhaps written by the "Lowland Folk Four". Any information including lyrics, music and recording details would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks to Kenny B.

The Thread you passed on is very useful, including links on shipbuilding on the Clyde too.

Thanks Again.

This is a great site. This is the second time I have made an enquiry and that was very helpful too.

Well Done Mudcat and the contributors.
