2nd favorite web site

We'll assume Mudcat is your favorite, but where else do you like to go? I thought catspaw might have enough quiet recuperating to do that he would run out of Mudcat threads to read & might like a little variety. Or maybe it's just the librarian in me & I can't resist accumulating a little information! Here's a couple of my favorites (hope I get the clicky things right!):

great virtual cards

and

a neat weather site

Let's have some fun w/ this!

best,

bbc

I'd suggest to a.h.b-o-u or:

Mornington Crescent (try the limericks game).

What else would you expect from me other than Prof's Irish Pages
Although there links to other great sites to be found there. My most frequented site is a little known discussion forum and database called the muddy pussy or something like that.
cheers
Mick

I don't let a day go by without a visit to see what Dilbert is up to and my current favourite search site is Google.

AIROS

that's, as in ARROWS and stands for American Indian Radio On Satellite. Click on to listen to some fantastic "Alter-Native" American music of ALL genres and incredible call in and news shows. I listen to it everyday.

and: for news from everywhere

Thanks for asking.

G'day,
Of course I've set Mudcat (Muddy pussy indeed!) as my home page & I then visit a couple of technical sites (boring) but I also often visit www.mp3.com.

AlsoTunes at Ceolas

and Richard Robinson's Tunebook.

Cheers,
Alan

For those with a bent (or twist or whatever) towards building musical instruments as well as playing them, I recommend this site: MIMF. Check out my resonator mandolin photos and description on the discussion "homemade musical instruments" in the "other stringed instruments" section.

I also enjoy various news sites but I'm not telling which ones for fear all you left leaners will come to my house, raise my taxes, and ask what my Social Security number is (grin wink).

I feel so deficient. I still don't know how to do the blue clicky thing. My hubby sent me this site:

www.dumblaws.com

It is a crackup.

No blue clickies for me either, but this site is a must mustmust every day: www.salon.com

It's a magazine. Especially see the travel vignettes and the "Mothers Who THink" essays. Excellent.

Oh, and I second Tony's endorsement of Google. Best search engine on the web.

I should've thought of these for here. They are linked into the one on flowers and gardens, but anyway, these are two of my favourite places to visit in CT, and now, on the net:

Caprilands

and....

Logees
