Also some live loops, including a three-part Mariachi band arrangement of Eggs in her Basket... my MySpace page, including four songs and gig list my personal web pages - which also include lots of hints and tips for floorsingers and suchlike -- Cheers Hamish ~8^) |

From: Mo the caller I call for barn dances, ceilidhs (weddings, families, serious dancers) etc. I'm in Cheshire, and will travel to N. Shropshire, S. Lancs and N Wales. I can recommend a variety of bands to suit your preferences and budget, or work with your musicians. I enjoy watching people enjoy themselves. I may bully people to get off their seats, but I won't criticise mistakes (though, of course, the dances are so well called that no mistakes are possible!) |

From: Surreysinger We (that's Ralphie Jordan aka Guest:Ralphie; Keith Kendrick aka Derby Ram; and me, Irene Shettle aka Surreysinger) would love to have some bookings for our show about Lucy Broadwood - it's the 150th anniversary of her birth in August this year, and she's a very fascinating lady. Any takers here in the UK (or even Stateside) happily considered. You can find more details about the show at the "Listen and You Shall Hear" MySpace page. You can also find links to my Myspace page, and that for Keith's band "Bandanglo" amongst the friends on that page. |

13 Jan 08 - 12:30 AM (#2235183) Subject: RE: Who want's to be on? Availablilty for gigs? From: Barry Finn Thanks Stallion. Charlie & Judy B were gonna try & put up our performance at the South Street Seaport that we recorded up on U-Tube. That way folks can see what we're like. (that may be a bad thing too, some times the audiences get violently sea sick & we have to start passing out pills). I'll have to contact Charlie & see how that's working out. We'd swim our way over but we wouldn't be worth fish bait once we got there. Keep trying & we'll keep working on our brest stroke. Thanks Barry |

13 Jan 08 - 06:50 PM (#2235733) Subject: RE: Who want's to be on? Availablilty for gigs? From: SouthernCelt I'm available for limited travel (50 to 100 miles) from central Mississippi unless the pay is really good. Most of what I've done in the past has been volunteer performances for church groups and other organizations that limit the "pay" to a small gratuity or free meal. I'd like to move up from that 'cause there ain't no money in it. I try to determine what type of music the venue expects or wants...some want cowboy music, some trad/folk, some Celtic or Celtic-inspired...I'll do pretty much any of that but don't do a lot of contemporary/new folk-sounding stuff. Best way to contact me is via PM from here or by e-mail to southerncelt@achgs.org. SC |
