Last years was excellent, and this years looks to be excellent again. I reckon they had the best kept toilets for a Folk Festival last year. Provisional list of performers Bellowhead, Solas, Cara Dillon, Tanglefoot, Maire Ni Chathasaigh and Chris Newman, Jez Lowe and the Bad Pennies, Rachel Unthank and the Winterset, Bob Fox and 422, Bill Caddick, All Blacked Up, Brooks Williams, Flossie Malavialle, Ruth Notman, Gareth Pearson, Quicksilver, Dr. Sunshine and Something Nasty in the Woodshed. I might get down on the sunday, if I am up to it, as it's only an hour or so from me. The last I went to the Gate was 1987, when my old man was dancing in it! Andrea |
