Steve had a lay-off from the touring for a while, to concentrate on his business but has been gigging again for a couple of years, attracting much acclaim. He's a great singer of traditional songs with fantastic concertina accompaniments, as well as astounding tunes. You can expect trad,Engish and American, ragtime and maybe a couple of classical pieces. Friendly club, cheap bar prices, free tea/coffe for the non-imbibers and grub in the break. £4 entry to non-members. All welcome. Get along to see one of the best performers on the scene! (And cups of tea for me since I was driving1) Can I also commend Steve Turner to folk clubs and to festivals. This gnetleman's talent deserves to be much wider known - if you get chance to see him - go, you will not be disappointed. And his final "encore" song is a real show stopper. |
