Please, help me correct this transcription. Thanks. R

Midnight Special Blues
Cryin' Sam Collins

Let the Midnight Special shine the light on me
Let the Midnight Special shine the ever lovin' light on me

Then you get up in the morning when the ding dong rings, Lord
You make it to the table, see the same old thing
Ain't nothing on the table but the pots and the pans, Lordy
Say anything about it, have trouble with the man

Let the Midnight Special shine the light on me
Let the Midnight Special shine the ever lovin' light on me

Yonder come little Nora - How do you know?
I know by the apron and the dress she wear
Umbrella on her shoulder, piece of paper in her hand
Looking for some sergeant to release some man

You get up in the morning when the ding dong rings
You make it to the table, see the same old thing
If you say anything about it, have trouble with the man

Let the Midnight Special shine the light on me
Let the Midnight Special shine the ever lovin' light on me

Yonder come little Nora - How do you know?
I know by the apron and the dress she wear
Umbrella on her shoulder, piece of paper in her hand
Looking for some sergeant to release some man

Roberto, your transcription sounds pretty good to me. The main thing I hear differently is the refrain:

Let the Midnight Special shine YOUR light on me
Let the Midnight Special shine YOUR ever lovin' lightS on me

Also in the last line of the 'Nora' stanza, it sounds a bit like 'some', but I think it is his way of pronouncing 'her' [man].

On both occasions where you have 'ding dong rings', I think he is singing 'ring'.

He also puts in an 'a' before 'little Nora' - 'come a-little Nora'.
