Strictly for Adults Only 12" 1978 Music World Music World NZ MALPS-475 8 8 5.00 Wayward Boy; Old King Cole; What Did You Think I Was Going to Say; Old King Solomon; I Wouldn't Say No to a Naughty; The Sailor's Tale; The One-Eyed Trouser Snake; Dirty Old Brown; Alouette; Robin Hood This doesn't tell which song the phrase "Devonshire Maid" appears, but it could be "The Sailor's Tale". Maybe someone else will be familiar with this recording. Roger in Baltimore |

11 Feb 08 - 03:36 PM (#2259706) Subject: RE: Lyr Req: can you guys help From: GUEST,Nerd If Jon Pertwee was indeed involved, it was probably not a sea shanty LP per se, but a comedy song album tied into The Navy Lark, his radio series of that era. Looks likely to be the third LP down on this page. Still no lyrics to show, though... |

Kerry and Mandy, you might want to recommend your friend buy the album, from the shop I found if you're in the UK, or Helen's if you happen to be in New Zealand. The item sells for fifty US dollars on Ebay, so either of these shops will be selling it cheap. |
