20 Feb 08 - 06:28 PM (#2267950) Subject: RE: Anchor Reunion Weekend 2008 From: My guru always said Kitty, that would be pretty crazy even by our festival-going standards *grin* No, we've decided that pulling the caravan up to Alcester for just one night really wasn't on however much we wanted to support them. Must admit, having not seen a flyer I'd kinda assumed that it would be a 'weekend', Stooopid Me!! Still, now I get to Reunion, excellent!!! |

20 Feb 08 - 07:29 PM (#2268023) Subject: RE: Anchor Reunion Weekend 2008 From: Dave Earl Is Ruth (Joanie Crump) Archer a Middle bar person? Not that it's an exclusive "members only" thing but I don't recall seeing her in there before. Never mind. The more the merrier. Dave p.s. Lizzie says she won't be going in to the Middle Bar but she will be geographically close - if you know what that means!! |
21 Feb 08 - 03:22 AM (#2268301) Subject: RE: Anchor Reunion Weekend 2008 From: GUEST,Rob Hopcott Hi all I'm hoping to attend the Sidmouth reunion in my camper van and am wondering where is the best place to park it overnight :-) I stayed at the golf course at the main festival last year which worked out very well (kind suggestion of someone here) but was wondering, with the pressure off accommodation with it being winter, whether anywhere was closer. Thanks for any help. Rob |
21 Feb 08 - 03:37 AM (#2268310) Subject: RE: Anchor Reunion Weekend 2008 From: Ruth Archer You're right, Breton cap - I'm not a Middle Bar person. We're staying with friends outside Sidmouth this weekend, so I think it's unlikely I will see any of you, but have a lovely time. |

21 Feb 08 - 04:36 AM (#2268334) Subject: RE: Anchor Reunion Weekend 2008 From: GUEST Rob I have known the main car park in Sidmouth to house camper vans over a weekend, especially during the festival.(cost) People have also been known to park along the sea front near the York and Faulkner. If you took the road past the ford and went up the hill to the east of Sidmouth town. People also park up there during Sidmouth week. They then walk down the steps to the Ham. Hope this is helpful.
