BS: Cats poorly leg

Wow! Don't the jungle drums work fast! Thanks to everyone who has phoned or e mailed to ask if all is well. Answer, yes it is ish... I didn't tear my Achiiles, it was the tendons either side and the muscles they attach to in the calf. For those of you who would like a good laugh... I fell off the kerb, stone cold sober on the way to Gideon's 50th, bottle in hand and slipped off the kerb before I got there. Thanks to all who massaged, rubbed, gave healing and drank for me. Hospital have said not to walk on it for at least 2 days then I can put gentle pressure on.

I can empathize, Cats. I once broke my foot stepping out the back door...I went to 'plant' my foot and my ankle turned...BIG ouch. Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks everyone. I did make it into the party for about half an hour while Hawker gave me healing but as I had to drive home across the moor and didn't fancy sitting with my leg up all evening going ouch everytime someone walked past.... Still it was an excellent session in the pub at lunchtime beforehand.
Looking forward to seing you at Fox and Hounds Phot, bring camera.. But i might not make it to Crediton at the weekend now.
