19 Apr 08 - 06:31 PM (#2320334) Subject: RE: Stokes Bay Festival From: Geordie-Peorgie This is the 'summer' off-shoot of Fareham Easter Festival - Originally Gosport Easter Festival The summer festival started oot at Eastleigh then moved to Wickham, and now to Stokes Bay, near Gosport. Peter Chegwyn aalwez puts on a forst class festival - Aah should knaah, aah wez MC at Fareham for 13 years until my age, forgetfulness etc made me SNLR - Alistair Russell does the biz at Easter now. £100 might seem a bit steep steep but you're a kite-flight from Portsmouth, Southampton and a host of other places if there isn't enough festival and History aroond Strokes Bay and Gosport - But wi that line-up yez should be well fettled. |

The line-up looks sensational - I see they've recently added Roy Bailey & Tony Benn, also Martin Hayes & Dennis Cahill. http://www.stokesbayfestival.co.uk Geordie-Peorgie seems to know the organisers and says they always put on a good event. I trust him and will be buying my tickets next week. Boris (no relation to you know who) |
