Redbourn is a lovely old village

There is a text book Common with a mile walk through a tree lined Avenue to the Church End part of the village

There is an iron age settlement just beyond the motorway (occupants now work in the hotel)

You pass the Duke of Cumberland's old hunting lodge and numerous oldy worldy properties (that used to be slums but are now des res for people working in London)

It all looks good fun. I found a youtube sample

Originally, skiffle groups were referred to as spasm bands. Why?

Have fun, those who are going!

There's an excellent presentation video here, except I saw a text scrolling across at some stage saying 'Fully house trained'. I'm not too sure about that..

yer talking 2 yersel agin oss

Foggy this morn, may hit the row later

Steve Tilston at the Hollybush ce soir, bit pricey at £8 so it would be another £12 for a Cd, £1 raffle, £5 for drinks, wow, for 2 people that would be £40 - £50 for a night out in the school room, which does have heating so I've been told.

So if you are planning a trip out on Saturday for Skiffle, then best check the account.

No wonder us pensioners and near pensioners stay in more often as we move along

And stick to the odd singaround, who said Barton tonight?

Meanwhile its free to hear Fleggy and me at the Plough leverstock Green most Sundays

Still foggy

Cheers John, I was feeling lonely

I hope it goes well on Saturday

As live music is the best

Like you say John - why does it have to cost so much - it's only rock n roll
