Linguam Latinam non parlo, sed ersaverse

Isaebili, ersago,
Fortibus esinaro.
Dems notbus es
Demis trux,
Votis inem,
Pisan dux.

Taught me by my Dad when I was young, and nothing to do with any other thread. (except one)

Penny

When I heard it, I think it started,
Seville, seum go (or something like that)
And you dropped the last line, didn't you? Something like
Cous en dux

Blessings,
Barbara, who took Spanish in high school, not Latin.

I didn't drop it, but something in the software did. My version ended,

Pisan dux.

What's latin for I do not understand? Does it mean BLUE CLICKY THINGY?

I am worried that I may have been insulted in latin?

I have in just about every other language. *smiles*

This Latin requires declaiming out loud as it is writ.

Anas Penelope = Penny's bum?

What bird (not a duck) is Puffius puffinus?

Manx shearwater = Puffinus puffinus.

What about Anas americana?

For this group, Turdus musicus might be most appropriate (and a good name for a rock group too)

As one who studied Latin for 6 years, I don't understand any of this stuff.....
...but it's cute.

Joe, you need to forget all the Latin you ever knew for this lot.

This is definitely Latin for those with no Latin, and especially no Latin Qualifications or Awards.

Darn. I never was able to figure out what good those six years of Latin did for me. I was required to take it at the school I attended. My son didn't have to take it, but he insisted on ignoring his father's advice and taking it anyhow. He didn't like it, but he got stuck taking three years of it. I told him so.
