Session Sat June14 Faldingworth 12to4pm

28 May 08 - 02:20 AM (#2350717)
Subject: Session Sat June14 Faldingworth 12to4pm
From: Rasener

I have talked with Dave Longden and we are happy to let the session go ahead, if there is enough interest up front. If it goes ahead, then we have agreed that Faldingworth Live will pay for the hire of the hall.

So can you please confirm on this thread if you will be attending the session on Saturday June 14th at Faldingworth Memorial Hall from 12 noon to 4pm. There will not be a bar or food, so its a case of bring your own.

If it goes ahead, Liam Robinson will lead it.

We do expect that the hall be left in a clean and tidy state afterwards.

Faldingworth Live need the hall from 4pm to prepare for the Allan Taylor concert in the evening and it will not be open again until 7:15pm after sound checks.

Please note that the car park at the village hall will not be open, so that if the weather is nice, you may like to be outside. Car parking will be on the corner where the Primary School is

Map location Faldingworth Memorial Hall

For those with Sat Nav, the postcode is LN8 3SE

Cheers
Les

my friend the cellist is called Katy, and she says at least 1 of her friends is already down (Doug) and another has said he will come!!
Hi Banjoflower Gerry - nice to hear from you again ..please do come.

Les .. its very kind of Liam to still come and lead it, and its even kinder of you to say that Faldingworth Live would fund the hire of the hall...... personally I wouldnt object to helping out there, say divide the cost of the hire between the number of participants, up to a maximum of £5.00 each ... how does that sound to one and all???

That's plenty of people for a good session, as long as there are enough lead instruments. I find maybe up to a dozen or so is a good number, many more and everything gets a bit muzzy, it's often harder to hear the softer instruments etc. Anyway, I'm hoping to get there, it was most pleasant last time.
