She was a NFL Cheerleader. I am no singer so please forgive the voice, nor am I much of a song writer Dan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YiPpbhQ11LA |

14 Jul 08 - 08:01 AM (#2388304) Subject: RE: Song I Wrote for my Daughter's Wedding From: Marje I'll just have to have a quick snuffle and wipe my eyes, must be a high pollen count or something .... I'm not the sentimental type and was prepared not to like the song much, but it was lovely and I understood it so well, having two daughters who are now grown-ups. I think the slide-show really nailed it for me. Your daughter will treasure this, although she won't really understand it fully until she's older. I hope that you, like us, will be lucky enough to have and enjoy grandchildren, and will share your song with them. |

I am not much of a singer or song writer, just wanted to do something special for my daughter. Now as Bruce told me, I have to do the same for my other two daughters when it is their time. Oh boy ... I better start working on them because I am sure it will take me forever to think of something. I can see I am in trouble now :-) |

I'm sure your just forgot to post your copyright and the date you wrote that song along with your name and the lyrics you posted above on 14 Jul 08 - 09:15 AM. "Katie's Song" definitely deserves to be recorded. And any recording of that song or any inclusion of its lyrics in any publication should definitely credit you as the writer/composer and include the date you wrote it. I'm just sayin... |
