That, I, think is pretty straight forward. PS possible exeption themed night ie fiddles on fire or melodeons in meltdown,bodhrons on a bonfire or banjos on a barbecue NB the last two are not a themed musical evening suggestion just a suggestion Cllr |

My earlier example is a good case in point: Tom on fiddle, Gren on guitar, very mellow vocals, a lot of American material. Very different from what Spiers and Boden do. Which is why I was happy to include them on a concert bill which also included Coope Boyes and Simpson and Seth Lakeman. Seth plays the fiddle too. Still no one complained. :) |

We don't book our own supports as we can't afford to pay enough for someone to come out on the road with us apart from our sound man - if we have a support then it is nearly always the decision of the venues or promoters that book us. If you would be kind enough to let me know the venue and date that you reckon this occurred then I'll look in to it and if it turns out that the venue has said this on our behalf then I'll speak to the promoter personally about this. Maybe you'd have the decency to post the reply here once you've got all the facts straight - then this thread might not look like the mudslinging that it looks like to me at the moment.
