Streets of Folk, Durham

If you're in Durham on Saturday 2nd August, then it is the new Streets of Folk Free Summer Festival...

There are a number of acts playing at various outdoor spots throughout the city during the afternoon...incuding ourselves (Brother Crow), Landermason, The Young Uns, Milke Weston, The O'Boyle Band and many, many more.

We're playing at:

14:00 Market Place
15:00 Elvet Bridge
16:00 Framwellgate Bridge
17:00 Elvet Bridge

Plus,

20:30 Court Inn
21:30 Dunn Cow Inn
22:30 Shakespeare

All slots are 30 minutes - it should be fun (if not tiring...particularly as we're playing in Briadstairs on Friday night!)

All the best,
Graeme,
Brother Crow.

Thanks, Graeme - had not heard of that one. So there's at least 4 in Durham now: The Durham Gathering, The Durham Traditional Music Festival, The Durham Folk Party (last week), and The Streets of Folk...will this be the first one?

Streets of Folk is organised by The Sage / Folkworks. There's a website at www.streetcof.co.uk - theres a number of outdoors events over the summer, of which "folk" is one...

All the best,
G.

NOW you tell me - when I've got other things planned that I can't get out of.

So - I won't be there (sob)!.

I will miss you Busy Bee Paul. It is really hard carrying all their equipment by yourself.....

Hope to see you soon, perhaps on your Scottish Tour...
