Just finished mixing it down last night.
You can have a wee listen here.
It's very, very slow.
Enjoy!

Jim, I am having severe difficulty getting the songs to load on the wireless laptop I'm using. It's not your site, it's my computer. I will try tonight from a land-line connection.

I'm truly looking forward to hearing what you've come up with. I enjoyed your last set of songs and I do wish you all the best with this group.

Tell me, how's a guy get a copy and how much and how can I effect payment?

Bruce

Hi Bruce:
Track no. 9 is just for you.
I should have mentioned in the title "Free Downloads".
It's set to about 157kbs so, somewhere between Tape & CD.
I'll send you a wee copy when the artworks done.

Unless I forget!
Grin!

So I've re-uploaded the songs to 256kbps, mp3 & one or two of them at 320kbps. Now that's well over CD quality so you can choose to download the whole album there. It's free I'm sure.

The album will be at CD Baby in a month or so for those of you who have nothing better to spend it on.

I'm just listening now. This is lovely; Boulavogue is one of my favourite songs. Congratulations.

Thank you, Jim. I'll have one off to you Monday. I'm quite excited about receiving yours because I recall you telling me about the learning curve you chose to undertake a year ago. I am very pleased you hung in and got it done. And I know that if you hadn't been happy with the results it wouldn't be released. I wish you great success.

Bruce

my CD arrived yesterday & I love it.

As you say track 9 is the best of all (I know that tune!), but I also loved your versions of Boulavogue, & Eriskay, & Galway Shawl & ...

There's nothing I don't like, many thanks for sending it to me.

sandra

Have you heard about Australia's Vinegar Hill, 1804 (blikifier is not working, dunno why)

That's a very long read, Sandra but I'll get through it.
I had some very dear friends in Blacktown when I was in my twenties.
Thanks Kendall.
Bruce: I can't read one single post on your thread. I think it may be too big so I'll tell you here.
Your heart & soul ring out on your new album. You have managed to maintain your presence throughout. You're going in the car today.
Phil: Me wife's ran off with the mail key again so I'm sure I'll get yours tomorrow.

Jim,

I ditto both Sandra and Kendall. Also, you have a timbre in your wonderful voice that I wish really wish I could get in my own. I think you should be very proud of "Highway of Tears" my friend. And if the fates are kind to us, I'm gonna get you doing harmony on a rock song with guitars, bagpipes and a drummer. The logistics are a headache but the cure is in the finished product. (OK, maybe you'll have to take Tylenol . . . LOL.

You've done a really good CD, true to your roots and certainly the branches bloom because of that.

Thanks, Jim.

Bruce
