Hi,
Bit new to this forum so I thought I'd say hello.
To all of you who left nice comments on my video, thanks. Its nice to feel that I'm wasting not my time when I have a spare afternoon and the madness takes me.

If anyone has some words for a song of a similar vein, then drop me a line. Would be nice to catch up and maybe do something.

Best wishes

Rusty

That is one mighty fine song. And your boy there looks like he'll be one helluva guitar player some day. Nice job, nice job, both of you!! And all your alter-egos, too!!

Thanks for reviving this thread Amos, or I'd have missed out on a great song. And some terrific guitar playing from the young lad. Fantastic job, Rusty -

It is indeed. Thought it deserved a blue clickie, so here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsLgEdowIg0 (My Love Is a Train)

(I think "This Train" is an unnecessarily vague title, conjuring up Peter Paul & Mary or something. I recommend the first line as an identifier.)

I agree with the posters on this thread.

Please follow Haruo's advice. I found out the hard way about song titles.

Welcome to Mudcat.

Good point, Haruo - people will probably think it's the "This train don't carry no gamblers, this train..." song, and they could miss out. It should have a distinctive title which clearly identifies it. But that's my only cavil -

Hello, Great song . really like the harmonies .
I did a search on "My love is a Train " and your clip on YT came up first . That might be a good title if not taken yet .. All the best , Guy

Well done, RustyGrid! And a belated welcome to Mudcat. It's been well over a decade since I joined this wonderful place and still I'm regularly amazed by the breadth and depth of information people put forward, sometimes in answer to a specific question and sometimes tucked unexpectedly into chat.
