I first heard it on an Electra album called "The Blues Project", which was a compilation of songs done by White, urban blues players like Van ronk, Danny Kalb, Geoff Muldaur, Spider John Koerner, Etc. Van Ronk played it in Drop-D tuneing, and I used to be able to play it, thirty years ago, but, alas, it is long forgotten! Does anybody out there play this song? Can you write out the TAB? I have recently gotten a tape of the original album, lost many years ago, and I found a lead sheet in an old "Sing Out", but that's not enough for me to work out the song. I'll post the lyrics here, when I get around to writing them out, in a day or two. Help! EZR |
