Make your predictions right here!!

Realclear, with no tossups, is counting 353-185 for Obama over McCain.
That looks about right to me now assuming No huge game changers.

I'm going to call that about right and make it my prediction.

You can play with the map to make your own predictions here!

Have Fun!!

"Assuming no huge game changers"

Jack,
Everyday that I wake up and turn on my radio to WCBS news all I hear is breaking news that is mind boggling. There are potential huge game changers going on every day.

This thing is far from over.

SOL

I don't know what to think of that. In their listings of the states below, they are missing Wyoming.

In that list they show only 35 states. ?

Yesterday, on PBS they guesstimated that Obama had 224 electoral votes and that McCain would be hard pressed to catch up. But that's a very far cry from 353.

Only 270 is needed.

With tossup states, NVC's Chuck Todd is saying that Obama is solid with 264 votes and could get up to 364 as the high water mark.

They're also missing Idaho, and moderate Republicans out here are very annoyed. The state might go the McCain, but the open Senate seat could go to the Democrats.

In fact, the Republican Party has been trying its level best to moderate any possible Democratic gains. More and more Democrats seem to be moving here, and the Republicans' recent attempt to install a closed primary system has hacked off not only the Democrats, but all of those who consider themselves "Independents" (about a third of the voters), the Republican administration in Boise, and the State Supreme Court.

If by "win California", you mean he might be given a nice bottle of Gallo Chardonay, this Christmas, you are probably right.

The list? You mean the list of States where independent pollsters are running regular polls? RealClear doesn't decide where the polls will be run. It just reports them and averages then.

You can bet there will be a few Contest winners.

A few dozen billion dollars snuck out of the Paulson bail out bill, should be enough to buy half of the electoral college votes.

It is a rare patriot who will turn down 100 million dollars to cast an X vote instead of a Y vote. To bolster the 100million dollar bribe they can throw in patriotism, religion and racist arguments.
I am fully confident that the electoral college can be bought.
It will even look better than having the Supreme Court select the President.   Again.

It would be money well spent for Republicans. It might keep hundreds of them out of prison.
Now thats what I call a real BAIL out bill.

An electoral college voter is allowed to vote their "conscience" ;<}
