I am looking for a simple song (possibly about death or sorrow) that is simple, has harmonies and can be sung in the round. I need to be able to teach this song and need some help on the notes. I cannot read music well and will be teaching to people who do. I thought of rose rose but perhaps a little to obvious. Is it possible to hear these songs sung somewhere. Thank you for your time Kathryn |

I don't know if any of the other Catters know it and can help. |

While you're waiting for some suggestions (you'll get some good ones here!) you could use Mudcat Search for rounds and see what you come up with. 'Ho, Young Rider' has a solemn sound. 'Rose' fits well with 'Ah, Poor Bird' |

There is a youtube video of people singing this, I think. |
