Angus Lyon Lost Accordion

I've been asked to put this out via Mudcat:

Angus Lyon of Box Club left his Accordion in a taxi on Sunday night and hasn't seen it since. (The note I got didn't actually say where he was at the time, but he's been playing in Glasgow, and lives in Biggar so those are my first guesses.) It's his main instrument: a black 120 bass Guerini (ladies / compact) accordion, with a broken grill which is gaffa taped up and it has internal mics fitted.

I have phone numbers should anyone have any info, although I also imagine he can be contacted via the websites.

Any help, or further circulation of his appeal will be appreciated.

sian

It was indeed in Glasgow - he was dropped off by taxi at the City Halls.

I had a guitar stolen a while ago.

As well as checking 2nd hand shops, folks suggested I also browse ebay etc

Back to the top. I've told my friends and family in Scotland - hope there's a good result.

I read on Footstompin.com that the taxi driver has now been located, the accordion recovered, and all is well with the world.

There's lovely....

It WOULD be unusual for a Taxi Driver to NOT look after something left in his cab . Glad there AS a good oucome though .

So glad it has been returned, but how on earth do you forget that you were carrying a 120 bass accordion?

And how come he only got the one back? If I found an accordion in tha back of a car, I'd add one or two (or possibly all 8) of the ones we have here....

(Glad it worked out for all parties)

If I leave one of my spare banjos in a cab , what chance I get a couple of extras ??
