BS: Too good to be buried (new bumper sticker)

Didn't want this to get lost in the old bumper sticker thread, so I am starting a new one with it. Thought all of the shanty singers would like it:

Dog is my co-pirate

Hmmm, Kat, is this making fun of dyslexics who can't pronounce their Rs? That is a Somali dog these days, is it not? Big Chuckles.

Ah, "Somali dog" indeed!*bg*

I saw another one which had a slightly different twist to it, today:

Jesus died for you
Because he couldn't live without you.

People who fly planes sometimes express the long-ago as "Since Pontius was a pilot!"

I haven't had a licence since....

There's a standard bumper sticker: "I slow down for horses"

I want one that says:
"I slow down for horses,
And for caravans, but not by choice!"

At the risk of appearing sexist, the one often cited as "the scariest" is the vanity plate (which I've seen from at least four states, in photos on the web):

PMS 24/7

(It's supposed to be a warning not to tail-gate?)

Some folks I know claimed they made and mounted their own bumper sticker:

Maybe its because I have worked in the renal field but that bumper sticker sounds like an encouragement to donate your organs.

Just saw a bumper sticker on a parked car:

it's in caps, but I won't do the all-caps in repeating it.

Being in the printing trade, I have made my own bumper stickers. Examples:

IF YOU'RE NOT OUTRAGED YOU'RE NOT PAYING ATTENTION
ANY FUNCTIONING ADULT 2020

Not a bumper sticker, but I saw it in a tat shop today on one of those signs you can buy:

WARNING: TRESSPASSERS WILL BE SHOT. SURVIVORS WILL BE SHOT AGAIN."

This one was a real bumper sticker. God save me from forum swearing but I have to do it now. We have loads of signs on the backs of vans and trucks here saying things like "Well driven? Ring xxxxxxx or visit xxxx.co.uk..."

Well this bumper sticker said "Badly driven? Go to gofuckyourself.co.uk..."

First sticker:

MY CHILD IS AN HONOR STUDENT AT SUCHANDSUCH SCHOOL.

Second sticker:

MY KID CAN BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF YOUR HONOR STUDENT

Sticker I would like to add to 2nd car:

DRIVER IS ILLITERATE AND UNAWARE OF WHAT HIS BUMBERSTICKER ACTUALLY SAYS.

So far as I know, I can claim this sticker concept as original:
"God is my co-pilot; He steers while I text".

From: Sandra in Sydney

brilliant, frogprince

I've thought for years that many of our drivers know they are god/goddess/ruler of the universe & that the road rules don't apply to them. Sydney's drivers need 200% concentration to deal with these drivers who change lanes & ignore speed limits or are texting as they drive.

I recently watched a gi-normous 4-wheeldrive (SUV) approaching me whose driver had one hand on the wheel, the other was holding what I assumed was his his mobile (cell) phone because his eyes were glued to whatever he was holding - fortunately he was using cruise control so was not in any danger of straying out of his lane ...

Sandra, cruise control only controls your speed. Steering is up to the driver.

Such foolishness is all too common. I'm sorry you were put at risk.

Back when bumper stickers declaring "My Other Car is a Mercedes" were popular I spied one on a rusty old Chevy Impala that claimed "My Other Car is also a Piece of Shit".
