Can anyone recommend a good fiddle tuition dvd? I'm not an absolute beginner but need instruction on things like technique and especially moving on from first position. I like most folk styles, Irish etc. and also old time, country and bluegrass style. And I'd like to learn some east european, klezmer and gypsy style too if anyone knows a dvd for this? Ta. Jane

Did you try youtube, Jane?
I found some pretty good Instructionals there a while back.

Sarah Naylor's two DVDs on Scottish Fiddle playing are excellent.

I got a great bargain on Ebay UK recently. Both of Kevin Burke's Irish fiddle dvds for a total of less than £10 altogether( and that included postage!)
