That was popular when I was in high school (mid to late 1940s), recorded by Frankie Laine.

I have it on very good authority that his shows are really worth going to see.

I like enery as well.

Shame I can't find Frankie Laine's version on youtube. It was a hit 48/49

YouTube says: "This video has been removed by the user."

Now we don't even know what it was.

Even if there's another copy out there somewhere, we can't find it, because we don't know what to look for.

Listen up, people! Please try to learn a lesson from this!

If you're going to set up a link, tell us what you're linking to!

It may not always be there.

Shine was on Joe's LP A Picture of You on the Pye Golden Guinea label, which I still have somewhere.

Does this mean that you have not been "Plain Happy" since you heard this song Villain? Unless you find out what it was and now we all do, None of us are going to be Plain Happy again .
In fact Betsy is downright miserable about it.

At the time it helped me feel happy at a time that my mother was near to dying. Does that help. :-)

It made me happy. It is a haunting, beautiful but neglected song.
