They actually had some good songs for their Herberts... were they all original to the series, or were some of them known folk songs? Does anyone perform them anywhere? |

The Uhuru/Spock song wasn't that bad. (Was it something like 'Somewhere Beyond Antares'?) I'm pretty sure the songs were excreted just for the show. As with everything, tastes may vary. Usually he played corrupt cops and Over The Top Gung Ho Officers in milirary comedies. But a decent singer. Don |

Some of the crew are having a bit of a hootenanny in one of the rec. rooms and Ensign Riley is stuck all by himself in engineering. Beeps the rec. room and asks Uhura to sing something for him so he doesn't feel like he's the only living thing in the universe. She sings "Beyond Antares." In the meantime, there's dirty work afoot. . . . Don Firth |
