Be great to see some 'Catters there! For anyone who happens to be in Pontypool (as might happen?) I'm also doing songs and stories for St David's Day on Feb 28th (I know, I know, it's confusing, isn't it?) in Pontypool Indoor Market and on March 1st in the afternoon at the Pontypool Active Living Centre. Anne at Dinas Powys Folk Club rounds off a great St David's weekend in Wales, including Saturday's Taffyfest at the Muni Arts Centre, Pontypridd, from 12pm to late (Calan, Bethan Nia, Megan Lloyd, Brygyn, The Performance Crew and bretons Bagad Plougastell and The St Pol De Leon Dancers.) The bretons are joining Welsh dancers, poets and musicians for the St David's Day parade in Cardiff. Dawnswyr Delyn are accompanying the Wrexham parade. At Cardiff Bay, Bethan Nia and Stacey Blythe doing a show free at 2pm in the Wales Millennium Centre - with all the St David's Day festivities going on, it promises to be a marvellous 24 hours! |
