It's amazing how playing a concertina and marrying a lovely redhead will keep you young!

Hope you had the happiest of days, Andrew, and that the coming year is full of laughter, love and peace.

Sins....you will be singing Happy Birthday with us (the BBC don't have sole rights on transatlantic sessions)!

I was playing the concertina for 30 years - it didn't work alone!

Thanks everyone for the wishes.

Keep going, Spaw - I'm sure you'll make it!

The great thing about going over the hill is that it's a lot easier going down (if you'll excuse the expression).

I'm sure this thread will get shifted to BS as soon as Joe sees it, and I don't blame him.

Happy Birthday Andrew. Have a wonderful weekend with everyone - I know you will. Sorry I can't be there to share it.

You're as old as you feel & I've seen somewhere that 60 is the new 30? If that is the case there's plenty of catching up to do :-)

Whatever your age enjoy it, there's nothing wrong with being over 60! but it is a good excuse for a party (or two, or more).

Love to you both & hope to see you soon.

Rosie xx

Happy late birthday --sounds like you had a fabulous weekend! My big 60 is on July 24 but we will be celebrating early......my sister from England and bro in law are coming over early July -- the plan was that they would attend my daughter's wedding but she has changed her mind about getting married.....but they are coming anyway. With my 60th to celebrate, son's 21st and sister's 40th wedding anniversary, I think we still have an excuse for a hell of a party......

A belated set of good wishes, because of my lack of mudcat access in rehab, but I'd have loved to have been able to honor your birthday invitation. Sounds like a good time was there to be had. 60 is not that bad, even as a crispy critter like myself.

What a great weekend/week. Thank you all for helping Andrew to celebrate in such style! We've both been away from computers for a while - been having great fun here in Devon singing at a Pirate Festival. I can see from e mails that there are numerous facebook pictures but unfortunately we cannot access Facebook until we get home as the library computers have facebook filtered out. Hope to see many of you at Fox & Hounds on Friday
