01 Jul 09 - 01:31 PM (#2669059) Subject: Obit: Ray Hargrave From: Broadside Man It is with sadness that I have to annouce the untimely death of Ray. Ray died on a sailing trip to France on the 28th June 2009. He was a member of the Wareham Whalers Shanty Crew, The Purbeck Mummers and the West Gallery singers the Purbeck Quire. He also played melodeon with some morris sides including I understand Grimspound Morris. The Purbeck Quire have decided to dedicate the concert that they are performing at Roger's Rant on the 12th July to Ray. The concert takes place in Milbourne St Andrew church at 5.30pm. The Wareham Whalers will be taking part and the organiser of the event has asked me to pass on his invitation to all those who sang or played with Ray to come and join in.
