I have tried to remedy this by putting notes with sound clips on the Internet here. Ray was one of our least-known traditional singers and deserves to be better known. Tradsinger |

Spreading the word on worthwhile performers and giving the background information on them and their repertoire is one thing that I like about Mudcat. Unfortunately this type of posting is far far outweighed by masses of dross on pop music (which I personally feel does not belong here) and mindless questions such as who is your favourite singer? Keep up the good work Hoot. |

I have just put it on my mp3 player and have been enjoying it immensely and there is a lot to listen to. I only got to see Ray on about 4 occasions but was really taken by his singing and I am so pleased that you were able to record and put out this CD. Do keep up the good work malcolm |
