25 Aug 09 - 07:02 AM (#2707968) Subject: RE: Good Intent UK Concert nights From: Pierre Le Chapeau coffee rush which clearly is affecting me keyboard skills? My neighbors who are moving brought down a half bottle of Sloe Gin last night and I polished it off I fear rather to quickly. I have never had it before. It was pinky color and had a rather yummy taste so I drunk the lot in about an hour. well the next thing I am off my tits. I have never got to that level so quickly what a creeper. I will never touch that again. I think I got cross with you on the Knockholt thread criticizing my cooking. Which I am completely aware now you were not. I apologize. Sloe Gin now enters my category of drinks to avoid like the plague because they have a chemical that sends me Nuts. Im still not right this morning. I realize now that No worries are playing the Tuesday night before Knockers. I will be there and go straight on to knockers next day;. Kind regards to all Pierre. |
25 Aug 09 - 08:26 AM (#2708030) Subject: RE: Good Intent UK Concert nights From: Richard Bridge Whisky to excess makes me aggressive. Yes I was not criticising your cooking. Sloe gin is about half the strength of gin on its own, so you did about the equivalent of a quarter bottle of gin. Piddled but not ratarsed, I'd estimate. |
25 Aug 09 - 02:58 PM (#2708336) Subject: RE: Good Intent UK Concert nights From: growler Don't know about the knockers, will consult Karen |

09 Sep 09 - 03:21 PM (#2720037) Subject: RE: Good Intent UK Concert nights From: growler A Great Night, well done John and Dean and ' No Worries' were great, hope to see everyone next month, for 'GASTOVE'. There was only one written complaint, from Richard Bridge, who was concerned about the lack of a death toll, in the songs. However, somebody bought him a pint of ale and he cheered up |
10 Sep 09 - 10:20 AM (#2720623) Subject: RE: Good Intent UK Concert nights From: Girl Friday Well done Growler... we don't get down too often these days... and I admit that there was an ulterior motive.... the mandola sounds lovely. However, Border Crossing were very good indeed, and I look forward to being able to book them next year. No Worries just get better every time.As to Richard, if Karen could organize a resident sheep in the garden....... |
