I usually see Martin Carthy referred to in gushingly reverent terms that are enough to make me gag. 24 Nov 09 - 04:10 PM (#2772887) Subject: RE: A K&C Xmas w/ Martin Carthy - Dec 12th From: folkandroots Seems quite sensible for a relatively new South London club (who incidentally like everyone else are doing this because of a love of the music) to promote what will probably be their biggest night hencefar, incidentally highly recommendable if you are within travelling distance, nice atmosphere, and a few minutes walk from Deptford Station (itself only about ten mins from London Bridge), well worth supporting. Well I'll be there anyway If I can get in on the night. |
