In these masterclasses, limited to eight people per day, participants will bring two or three English traditional songs of their choice for her to give her unique guidance on interpretation & performance. Saturday evening 8.00 p.m. I'M A ROMANY RAI Shirley's presentation about the Gypsy singers & songs of Southern England with Pip Barnes & recordings & slides from Vic & Tina Smith. Sunday evening 8.00 p.m. PETER KENNEDY'S SONG COLLECTING IN SOUTHERN ENGLAND, 1950s-60s A new presentation from Shirley with Pip Barnes & Vic & Tina Smith. Presentations £6 each. To begin with, though, as we only have eight places per day, I'd rather people picked one and then put themselves on the reserve list for the other as this will give more individuals a chance to take part.
