Making Music from Junk Saturday 24th April 2010 The Ropewalk, Barton upon Humber 10am – 4pm Chris Bartram Humbersound & Music Leader This will be a fun, practical session in which participants will use common materials to create some very simple, yet surprisingly effective musical instruments. You will also explore everyday household objects in order to unlock the often surprising sounds hidden in them! The workshop will look at simple ways of creating and devising music with the new instruments and the sounds that have been discovered. All materials for the workshop will be provided, though participants are encouraged to bring along anything that makes an interesting sound! Humbersound & Music Leader |
