Christine and I are really pleased to let you know that we will be the guests at Maidenhead Folk Club on Thursday 13th May. We've loved singing there for the occasional floor spot in the past, so now we're really honoured that Tony and Pearl have asked us to appear there. Of course Christine has a 'special' relationship with Maidenhead, having achieved first place in the Folk Song Competition in 2007, so I'm sure that we'll be performing both her entries (she also had a near miss in 2005!). It'd be lovely to see as many of our friends as possible to help us along with the choruses, not that the Maidenhead regulars need much help in that area! I particularly enjoyed the 'Wine' song, 'The Song about the guy who died' and the songs that Christine wrote Nice to hear favourable feedback from the audience.
