GOOSE GANDER'S GOBBLER RED
(turkey chili)

I pound ground turkey
2 packets chili seasoning (Lawry's etc.)
I medium onion (diced)
1 teaspoon red pepper
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon cumin
2 or 3 cans pinto beans (rinsed)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cups water

Saute onion in 1 tablespoon olive oil, add turkey and cook until brown. Add seasonings and blend, adding second tablespoon of olive oil as ingredients combine. Add beans and turn down heat to a simmer. Add water 1 quarter cup at a time until desired consistency is achieved. Let cook on low for 45 minutes. Serve with cornbread or corn tortillas.

Sounds delicious but who can cook in this weather. Maybe you coud have a barbecue and invite us all over? I'm sure the Catters would supply desserts and beer.

If you're ever in Long Beach, California look me up.

Just follow the smell of hickory smoke and spilled beer.
