The quality for a club singaround is quite remarkable. I willingly forego my place in the circle just to hear more from the talented guys.

Richard's done a great job of editing together the footage he took of the Crayside Folk Day in October to produce the DVD. Must have been a job and a half to distill all that footage into a 2 hour DVD and capture the atmposhere and variety like he has! Well worth it for the memories.

This is the DVD put together by Fisheye

Available from the club - priced £3.00

Absolutely fantastic night - great music, great people - even the barstaff performed. It doesn't get much better than this and I've been to LOTS of folk sessions - well done Sue & Trev Am leaving this one up although it really belongs to the previous venue. GF

The Seven Stars is closing for refurbishment soon. Our last Folk Session there will be on Monday July 8th. It will be a celebration rather than a wake. We have been there now for 3 years. If anyone wants to come to our last night they are welcome. We hope to be moving to the nearby Foots Cray Social Club.

It was a great night. We were outside, but there weren't too many stars. Too much light pollution . But who needs astral bodies when the real stars were Craysiders.

Unfortunately no tube station anywhere close. Sidcup BR station seems to be nearest rail link.
