UK:Bath/Bristolgigs& sessions

Are there any people out there in the Bath/Bristol area who like me would like to go to gigs/ sessions etc of folk/roots/blues/whatever music but don't have a partner who enjoys this brand of entertainment? I'd be interested in forming a loose informal network of mature people age range say 25 - 60 who would like to meet up in small groups for this purpose. Bonnie, hi! Always good to hear/see folk from the UK who are sort of local - I'm actually a little further south, closer to Exeter, but I figured it would be good to say Hi! Hope you have lots of response in trying to get together with others of a like mind....and if you're interested, we've got a good gig happening at our local night next month, and it's free, gratis and for nothing!! PAT KILBRIDE is playing on the 18th of September, if you want any more details, drop me a line at max13@madasafish.com hope to hear from you soon, and good luck. Teller.

Thanks Teller

I think Exeter's a bit far for me but thanks anyway. It's nice to get a response

By the way, is anyone going to the Stroud Festival next month ?

Hi Bonnie Yes I am going to Sroud next month. I will be at the Commitee band ceilidh on the Friday night and my band "Grand Union" is playing for the Saturday night ceilidh - with Dave Hunt calling. The folk alternative to Rolph Harris!! There are usually great sessions in the "Old Swan" - all day. Hope to see you there.
