One of the folk scene's favourites, Roy is renowned at home and abroad, as possibly the finest performer of grass-roots music for the last forty years. His work contains the soul of working class ideals and socialist principles. Singing a mixture of original material, traditional songs and works by some of the best writers, Roy never fails to impress with his sensitive interpretations, sincerity and humour. £8 admission, cheap bar, free tea, coffee and grub in the break.
