It's hard for me to believe that the Auburn Tigers hasn't challanged my prediction or maybe they agree

It's hard for ME to understand why folks will post riddles, as if the whole universe ought to 'know' exactly what they are referring to.

(A couple of years ago, someone from England started thread titled "He's gone!"...and everyone was supposed to know they meant some soccer player had been sold.)

ah well.....

I'm sorry Bill D if I misled you on my posting under BS but I never meant for this to be a puzzle and after all the TV coverage on the BCS winners and the Heisman trophy winner the past three weeks I guess I thought catters in the USA would know what the thread was all about especially the catters from Alabama.I can understand the catters in other countries being confused but oh well I'mm sure this is not the first puzzled thread posted

*grin*yes...American college football...
well, not everyone follows sports.... and we have VERY few..if any... who are Alabama oriented. *I* first guessed it referred to the "Mighty Ducks" hockey team....of which I vaguely remember the name because it was cute, but nothing came up about tigers in their schedule.

In my never-too-humble opinion, it's best to be reasonably specific when starting a thread.....not that any harm was done.

Only a few months ago, I learned that the sports teams for the University of Oregon are called The Ducks.

I still find it hard to believe.

The Oregon Ducks are a 13 point underdog going into this game but I still like my prediction Ducks by 3
