Folks, I'm sharing my annotated bibliography on sea shanties, including Terry's works on them. You can access the annotated bibliography (in progress) at

Nice list... does it actually start with just H? Or are there some we don't see?

Bill -- definitely in progress. I'll add another 5-10 within the next few weeks. George Salley has put me on more titles which I'll need to go through over the next several months.

The link in comstone's first post of this thread seems to be broken and a 'google' doesn't bring up an "annotated" bibliography.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the online file? Better still, was it ever published in book form?

I've DM'd comstone but I haven't had a reply. Is s/he still active on here?

All the best
Harry

Harry, if you click on a member's name that gets you a list of their posts

unfortunately comstone only made 4 posts, & they were way back in 2011

lighter appeared to know him & is a current member, you could PM him

RTim: the link in the first post to the online file for Comstone's Annotated Bibliography on Sea Shanties.

Sandra: thank you, I've contacted Lighter. He doesn't know Comstone but he's suggested another line of enquiry.

I'll report back if I get any further.
