05 Apr 11 - 09:19 AM (#3128958) Subject: Napper and Bliss and Bliss and Wilcox From: GUEST, Tom Bliss Heads up for anyone interested in the north: I'm doing a few gigs this year, just so's not to forget entirely how to do it... Tom Bliss with Phil Wilcox at the Topic in Bradford on Thursday week - the 14th (This will be tend towards the 'epic' end of my story song spectrum, presented in glorious sensuround 3D technicolour feelyvision thanks to Phil's panoramic but oh-so-subtle accordion and voice, plus some new tunes from Phil's repertoire. The big 'proper' mandocello gets its first outing in anger, and watch out for the twin box numbers - in fact, bring earplugs!) 09 Apr 11 - 06:11 AM (#3131809) Subject: RE: Napper and Bliss and Bliss and Wilcox From: GUEST, Tom Bliss Thanks guys - yes we are looking forward, too. See you there. Tom PS Bob. It's ok by Max and Joe for us to promote our gigs on Mudcat - and as a club organiser I'm sure you know that publicity is essential for both guest and club. If I fail to do my bit, then I'm effectively reneging on the contract. So, grim though it can be when people object, or see us are mere attention-seekers, we really do have no choice when money is changing hands (though maybe that's the issue - if so, it's a whole other debate). |
