07 May 11 - 08:51 AM (#3149733) Subject: Alba Whistles From: G-Force I recently sat next to someone playing an Alba D whistle, which sounded lovely. Does anyone have any info on these whistles, particularly how hard are they to play? My current Tony Dixon is a delight and very easy to play but not much volume in the lower register. I'd like something a bit louder (so I can hear myself when sat between two melodeons in a session!) but not if it takes too much breath. Thanks a lot. |
