Alba Whistles

I recently sat next to someone playing an Alba D whistle, which sounded lovely. Does anyone have any info on these whistles, particularly how hard are they to play? My current Tony Dixon is a delight and very easy to play but not much volume in the lower register. I'd like something a bit louder (so I can hear myself when sat between two melodeons in a session!) but not if it takes too much breath.

Thanks a lot.

Alba Whistles
They're made not far from me, and the lady who owns (?) the company, Stacey (?) Used to come to our sessions in the Invershin Hotel, at one time.
Nice sounding whistles.

They have been through several designs over the years. I don't know what they're making now, but they used to have two lines, wide and narrow bore (stronger at the bottom and the top, respectively).
